Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, [info]renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer. In the first two years, the competition brought in over £65,000 (that's $107,260.73 U.S.!), with entries from 130 countries last year. Renaissance10 recently joined LiveJournal to meet other passionate photographers and find supportive friends.

This "Better late than never" bit is a double feature.  First off, breakin the ice and givin out a Woof and Yo, of hello.  New to the group though definitely not new to the state.  Though I'd say semi new to the Fur Group in the state, though I already know a small chunk of you^~.  

Great, now that we're all pals and chums, the second part of Better late than never.  Figured I'd share a little clip from Wild Nights 2009, since A.  I finally got around to loading it up a few weeks back and B.  Since Oki Doki, got around to oking its viewing for the public^^.  

Nothing major, just a cute little clip where he had come tearing down from god knows where, totally skinned and in his "human PJs";P, to show Toba how its done.  Thanks again Oki for giving permission on the clip, and same to Toba^^.

So yea, if you didn't attend Wild Nights, this year, definitely consider it next year.  Its' a great little con and with more people attending it can only get better.  Take it easy critters.

When granddaughter, Jada, was born with leukemia, a donor-match was located and Jada made a miraculous recovery. In honor of her grandaughter's health, Jeanna has decided to walk across the country (in the dead of winter) to raise awareness and build support for the bone marrow registry (all that's required is a cheek swab). So I had this idea today....
 
 Challange the local Klingon chapter to a bake sale.....
 
 all the proceeds go to charity.... Winner picks the charity.
 
 
 
 The main thing here is to find a date where we could all get together IN SUIT or IN EARS AND TAIL to do this!!! I need to coordinate with interested parties!!! :3 
 
 Skylor and I will be in charge of this, guys, so that ya'll know.
 
 
 Okay... here's what I need
 
 We need at LEAST 25 furries to be willing to do this! I know of at least 10 suiters that'd probably be up for this. :3 (myself and sky included in that number.)
 
 
 If I can get that many furries to actually say YES I'LL BE THERE (no flakey furs pleaaaaase) I will get in contact with our local Klingon Chapter and Challenge them to a Bake off. :3
 
 
 What do you guys think? 
 
 
 
 PS: This isn't for just OKC LOCALS!!! Those of you from Tulsa and from Dallas are welcome as well. if you can take a day off to come out here to Norman OK we'll get everything coordinated and fixed up so that we can do this bake sale :3 If you live ANYWHERE near Oklahoma city you are welcome to come and join in! We need people to bake stuff too!!! :3  (wichita Falls, you guys are welcome, Tulsa, Dallas, Arlington, you are all welcome!!!)
